I believe independent classrooms don’t happen by accident.
They are intentionally built through systems that help students take ownership of their learning while giving teachers the freedom to teach.
Through centers, routines, organization, accountability, and meaningful learning experiences, I create resources that help teachers build classrooms where students know what to do, think for themselves, and grow into confident, independent learners.
And while my passion extends across elementary classrooms, third grade will always have a special place in my heart. It’s the bridge between learning the basics and learning how to use them with greater independence—which is why so much of what I create is designed specifically for third-grade teachers and students.
Because when students learn how to learn independently, everything that follows becomes stronger.
